10 Free Printable Planner Quotes for Inspiration
Making these printable planner quotes is my favorite thing to do these days. I just love inspirational quotes, and ones I can stick in my planner - yes, please!
It's been a weird year so far, if I'm totally honest. April is here, and it'll probably go as quickly as it arrived. Maybe it's because I'm older that I notice time passing by more, or maybe I just have so much on my plate that I'm just not having enough time to do it all.
Whatever it is, I'm handling it pretty well, at least I like to think so. My bullet journal/planners really help me keep things together.

I have always loved reading inspirational quotes. I'm a sappy soul, and I like being able to relate to words that someone has written during their trying times. It makes me realize that I am not alone. Other people go through the same things, just different levels and circumstances.
Such is life.
Random Acts of Kindness (RAK)
I've seen people posting about their experiences of giving and receiving random acts of kindness, and it makes my heart swell with love.
Last weekend, I was at an 85 degrees Bakery, as per my usual weekend habit - if you haven't gone, go! - and there were these two teenagers (16 and 13 years maybe) in front of me in the checkout line. We arrived at the checkout counter at the same time, different cashiers but next to each other.
I overheard the cashier tell the kids they don't accept Amex (cause who does these days), and they were kind of freaking out. The older girl told her brother she'd have to leave him in the store to go get cash. She asked the cashier if they could come back for the food.
Mama Ashlynn Steps In (LOL)
She was shaking her head at them, so I stepped in and asked if I could just pay for their food.
I did, and then went back to my cashier who I hadn't been paying much attention too. He didn't really care, because he was saying thank you to me and smiling. The kids were also very verbally thankful.
After we got our drink orders, they stopped by to say thank you several more times before leaving the bakery.
I told my own teenager what I had done, because he was confused as to why these kids were talking to me and saying thank you over and over.
He didn't really understand why (he has Autism and is high-functioning). I explained that it was just a nice thing to do, and if he was ever in that situation, I hope that someone would step in for him like I did for them.
Small Things Matter
We get so caught up in our lives that we forget to actually live it - to stop, look around and see how far we've come.
It's been a struggle, let me tell you, but I'm doing the best that I can. That really is all that we can do - our best.
